Air Display for iPad Review
Apr 12th
So I bought Air Display for iPad about a week ago and purposely held off writing a review until I’d “road tested” it a little more.
Air Display for iPad essentially turns your iPad into an extra display for your Mac or MacBook Pro (with bluetooth) and is a great addition to any Mac user’s app collection.
I’ve used it for certain things and, whilst the graphics are sometimes a little fuzzy, the app is great on the whole. When streaming The Masters via CNNSports.com it didn’t lag or lose anything and for re-keying information from Word docs into a web page or More >
F5 and F6 Keys Not Working On A MacBook Pro To Change Keyboard Backlighting
Mar 12th
This has come up a few times both on the phone and in person over the last few weeks when we’ve been generally chit chatting with people about tech gadgetry.
The problem: your MacBook F5 and F6 keys don’t work to adjust the backlighting on your keyboard, instead you see a circle with a line through it?
The solution: the Macbook Pro has a built in ambient light sensor just to the left of the iSight camera above the screen. The backlight on your keyboard naturally responds to More >

Jan 19th
Apps have obviously become a major part of our lives now and with more and more phones, ipods, ipads and laptops being enabled for app use, there are loads of new apps stores coming into light to offer us lots of different options when it comes to downloading our apps. Apple and Android are the two major players in this and there is lots of competition between them to find out which is the best.
First off, Apple is the tried and trusted company that has brought us the ipod and the newly released ipod touch and ipad, all of which More >
iPhone 4 Bumper Review
Aug 19th
So I got my iPhone 4 bumper a few days ago – I’ve been using it since and decided to post my own little iPhone 4 bumper review.
iPhone 4 Bumper – Review And ThoughtsWell as with everything Apple, the bumper is well packaged and well delivered. All good on that front – gotta love Apple’s packaging. Smooth.
//When I plumped for the bumper I was in two minds regarding which free iPhone 4 case to go for; there are lots of other great cases available as part of the program, including some smart looking Belkin cases.
But, I’d bought a cheap More >

Aug 13th
This is only a little tidbit but well worth it’s weight in gold (or brushed steel?!)…

Mac Dashboard Freezes / Mac Dashboard Not Working – Try This
Jul 11th
I had a very bizarre situation last week where my Mac Dashboard started experiencing freezes, and when the Mac Dashboard freezes your widgets just do not work!
I’d never come across it before and, after some digging around on plenty of forums I was advised that if my Mac Dashboard is not working, it could be an issue with a corrupt preference file.
Mac Dashboard Freezes / Dashboard Not Working – The SolutionOpen up: home folder > library > preferences and delete: com.apple.dashboard.plist.
Now restart your Mac and all of your Dashboard widgets should be reset to default and working again.
Merging Two Apple IDs For Use With iTunes
Jun 30th
Ok so whilst I was trying to solve my MobileMe POP3 problems I then realised that actually, I probably want to have my MobileMe address as the one I use for iTunes etc.
Problem is, when you try changing your (in my case) Hotmail address to your Me.com address, you get an error saying that the Me.com Apple ID is already in use. Which it is, by you.
Now you have two Apple IDs.
So, like any good geek, I tried merging two Apple IDs for use with my iTunes library but couldn’t. I didn’t want to use two IDs as there’s More >
