Mac Dashboard Freezes / Mac Dashboard Not Working – Try This
I had a very bizarre situation last week where my Mac Dashboard started experiencing freezes, and when the Mac Dashboard freezes your widgets just do not work!
I’d never come across it before and, after some digging around on plenty of forums I was advised that if my Mac Dashboard is not working, it could be an issue with a corrupt preference file.
Mac Dashboard Freezes / Dashboard Not Working – The Solution
Open up: home folder > library > preferences and delete: com.apple.dashboard.plist.
Now restart your Mac and all of your Dashboard widgets should be reset to default and working again.
Thanks to Barry Hemphill on The Apple Discussions forums for this.
