This is quite a new blog, as of time of writing; like any other decent blogger I’m looking at how I can make this blog a quality resource for people to keep coming back to.

Of course, there are thousands (millions?!) of blogs out there, and choosing the ones you regularly read comes from looking at a number of factors:

  • Does the blog contain information that interests you?
  • Does the blog get updated regularly?
  • Is it a collaborative style of writing or does it employ more forced opinions and discourage comments?
  • Does it look good?(!)

Of course there are far more factors influencing whether you bookmark a blog but the ones I mention above are good starters.

So, with that in mind as a blogger, I’ve been looking around at other people do this – people who have successfully navigated the blogosphere and come out shining.

One article I found is 10 Essential Tips For Marketing Your Blog over at Hongkiat.com. Some of the points raised are excellent, and the article really gives you the drive you need to start blogging away, and blogging quality.

Check out the article, there may be something for you in there!
