It&#039;s a great system from a backend perspective; I&#039;m not sure either WordPress or BlogEngine is &quot;better&quot; - both systems have their merits and I guess it&#039;s personal preference and whether the product is fit for purpose that decides which is better in each project.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Certainly WordPress is more mature so the extensibility is easier (through pre built plugins) and tutorials are wider spread.&lt;/p&gt;
